The Kidlet got this recipe from an issue of Chickadee magazine. We made a round of them for the family the other night and they were a success, with symbol declaring them on par with the ATK recipe we've made at other times.
Chickadee Mug Cake

Ingredients
- 60mL (¼ C) flour
- 30mL (2 tbsp) sugar
- 30mL (2 tbsl) cocoa
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 45mL (3 tbsp) milk
- 30mL (2 tbsp) oil
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- chocolate chunks or shavings to taste
Directions
- Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking powder in a microwaveable mug. Stir thoroughly until mixed.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Stir thoroughly until mixed -- no dry spots!
- Microwave for 1:35.
- Top with chocolate and let stand for 1 minute.
