I totally forgot to take a picture of this one. Sorry. But I wanted to do a write-up anyway because the tofu cubes came out so nice.
This was tasty as is. I'd be tempted to add 1/4 tsp. ground ginger next time and maybe double the garlic.
1 The original recipe calls for 3 Tbsp. sesame oil, but I found the resulting tofu somewhat greasy. I think 2 Tbsp. oil would be enough to give a nice flavour without making it excessively greasy. Back

Tofu Sesame Cubes
Slightly adapted from Mind Over Munch
Ingredients
- 227g extra firm tofu
- 3 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil1
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds, ground
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
Directions
- Wrap tofu in paper towels and press for a few minutes to extract excess moisture.
- Cut tofu into small cubes.
- Combine all remaining ingredients, mix well, and toss with tofu. Set aside for at least half an hour.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
